The cottages at La Posa Estate open onto a wide, sun-dappled lawn that invites relaxation and play. At the heart of the grounds, a cozy firepit offers the perfect spot to gather with a guitar and roasted marshmallows under the stars. Nearby, a gas grill makes al fresco dining easy and enjoyable. The expansive lawn is ideal for classic summer activities—think frisbee, catch, croquet, or a spirited game of tag beneath the trees.

A short, scenic walk leads you to the lake. From your cottage stoop, it’s about a five-minute walk down a wooded trail and staircase that winds through tall pines and lush ferns. At the water’s edge, you’ll find a peaceful, private cove complete with a dock, a floating swim island, and inviting spots to sit and soak in the view. Kayaks are available for guests to explore the lake, and motor or pontoon boats are welcome with advance notice to ensure there’s room at the dock.

While the walk to the water is lovely, the return path includes a moderately steep hill that may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. That said, you will find the serenity and natural beauty of the lakefront well worth the stroll.
