A Message from the Trustees of La Posa Estate
Welcome to La Posa Estate — we’re so glad you’re here!
We are five siblings, now the stewards of a place that has shaped our lives and holds our family’s heart. In 2024, our beloved mother entrusted us with the care and preservation of La Posa — a place she lovingly saved from disrepair, and one we’ve each called home in our own way.
We grew up here, barefoot and joy-filled, with paintbrushes in hand and dreams of preserving this magical place — not only for fellow lovers of nature, history, and the beautiful state of Maine, but also for our own children and the generations still to come.
La Posa is more than a vacation destination. Within its walls lives the legacy of Elizabeth Arden, the story of our family, and the spirit of community and belonging we hope every guest can feel when they stay here. Today, there are eight grandchildren running through the same fields and splashing in the same waters we once did, forging the same bonds of love, work, and play that shaped us.

About Amy Kincaid Todey
Amy is the oldest of five siblings entrusted with carrying forward the vision and spirit of La Posa. For Amy, this place is far more than a family property—it’s where her roots run deep and her heart feels most at home. She and her husband, Chris Ford, were married in Belgrade Lakes in 2013 at Saint Helena Catholic Church and held their wedding reception on the back lawn of La Posa, surrounded by tall pines, family, close friends, and the quiet history of a place that has long meant home.
Amy brings warmth, intention, and a deep love of nature to her role in caring for La Posa. A lifelong athlete and outdoors enthusiast, she cherishes kayaking on Long Pond’s quiet waters, going on scenic hikes and trail runs in the area, and planting flowers in La Posa’s window boxes and gardens. She now shares these same simple joys with her three sons—Grayson, Grant, and Griffin—who are growing up exploring the woods and water just as she did.
In her everyday life, Amy is a psychologist based in Atlanta, Georgia. She lives in Brookhaven, Georgia with Chris, an NCAA basketball official, and their energetic crew of boys.

About Austin Todey Hall
Austin brings grit, grace, and serious get-it-done energy to our trustee team. Known for her can-do attitude and eye for interior design, she’s the one who rolls up her sleeves and makes things happen—with style.
A practicing PA at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Austin specializes in orthopedic surgery and somehow still finds time to host unforgettable gatherings, take long walks, and enjoy the occasional bougie lunch (or two).
Austin lives in Brookhaven, Georgia, with her husband Theo—who adds his own creative spark working in marketing for Tito’s—and their two spirited daughters, Arden and Ava.
With warmth, wit, and drive, Austin keeps us all inspired.
