Nightingale Cottage

Nightingale Cottage takes its name from Florence Nightingale Graham—the birth name of Elizabeth Arden. Before she became an icon of beauty and wellness, she carried the name of another great reformer, Florence Nightingale, the pioneering nurse and advocate for public health. In choosing “Elizabeth Arden” as her professional identity, she honored her ambition to create spaces of healing and renewal. At La Posa, Nightingale Cottage nods to that origin story—a quiet tribute to the woman before the empire.

As the third in a string of private one-bedroom cottages at La Posa Estate, Nightingale Cottage offers a peaceful, light-filled retreat that invites rest, reflection, and connection to nature.
